Specifications

Installation

1. Remove the two factory mounting bolts and the fuel cap using a 10 mm socket wrench.
2. Transfer the two rubber stoppers, metal spring clip, and fuel cap tether from the factory lid.
3. Temporarily install the new fuel filler lid and adjust its alignment with the lid closed.
4. Tighten the mounting bolts while holding the lid in position to prevent movement.

Latch Adjustment

Due to manufacturing tolerances, the latch angle may require minor adjustment after installation.

Confirm smooth opening and closing before final use.

If the lid does not pop open sufficiently when the fuel door release is operated, carefully adjust the tension of the factory metal spring clip.

Note:

Please check your vehicle compatibility before purchasing.

Factory components including the fuel cap, fuel cap tether, metal spring clip, and rubber stoppers must be transferred from the original fuel filler lid.

After installation, verify proper opening, closing, and latch alignment.
