Description:

The radiator cap is not just a simple lid—it regulates the pressure inside the cooling system.

Pressure control:

As coolant expands with engine heat, the internal pressure of the radiator increases.

When the pressure exceeds the specified limit, the pressure valve opens to release excess pressure into the reservoir tank.

Negative pressure control:

When coolant cools and contracts, the internal pressure decreases.

If negative pressure occurs, the vacuum valve opens and draws coolant back from the reservoir tank to maintain proper pressure balance.
